Misuse of Drugs Regulations Order 1989

This order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Regulations Order 1989.
[Order49.3.3s2]2 Adoption of regulations made under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971
[The Misuse of Drugs (Regulations) Order 1997 provides that the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1985 (SI 1985/2066) cease to have effect from 1.4.97. See also Misuse of Drugs (Licence Fees) Regulations (SI 2010/2497), Misuse of Drugs (Safe Custody) Regulations (SI 1973/798), and Misuse of Drugs (Supply to Addicts) Regulations (SI 1997/1001)]
Except insofar as the same may be inconsistent with the Misuse of Drugs Ordinance 1987 or with any regulations made thereunder, all regulations made or in force under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 are hereby adopted as law in the Falkland Islands, with such alterations as to names, localities, courts, officers, persons, moneys, penalties and otherwise as may be necessary to make any such regulations applicable to the circumstances of the Falkland Islands, and as if the same had been so made under section 11 of the Misuse of Drugs Ordinance.
